Contrary to this picture, getting Adam to smile was so easy by 2 months old!  Big, toothless, "wide-mouth frog" smiles!  I love when my babies start smiling all the time.  It makes the late nights and long days so much easier.  Adam is wearing 3 month clothing.  Although, by the looks of his 2 month picture, maybe it was a little big on him.

We had so much fun this month!  We traveled to Reno to visit family, watch our cousin, Owen, get baptized and we blessed Adam.  Up to this point, only my parents had met our sweet little boy, so we were excited to show him off!

VERY full van!  12hrs is a long drive.
All the boys did well with the drive to Reno, especially Adam!  The drive home...not so much but we survived.  Adam met almost off of his cousins and Aunts and Uncles, as well as "Ouchie" Grandma and Grandpa.  (Connie - I hope you don't mind this endearing nickname...it's pretty well stuck!  And how did we not get a picture of you and Adam?! :( Sorry!)  Adam's cousin, Callie, had been practicing holding a baby so she would be ready when she met Adam!  She loves him and always wanted to help or hold baby Adam.  It was cute!  Adam met his closest cousin in age.  Elsie is a few months older than him.

We had to take a trip up to Lake Tahoe!  The Pacific Northwest is beautiful but we have yet to see any place that compares to Tahoe.  It has been so strange for me to have a baby in the middle of the Summer.  My instinct is to always bundle up my new babies but not with Summer babies.  Just like his big brothers, Adam is happy to be naked or mostly naked!  Under the shade of a beach tent, this is how Adam enjoyed Lake Tahoe.

Perfect little body

Continuing on with his love of being naked, Adam has ALWAYS loved bathtime!  He has never cried.  In fact, if he's extra grumpy, we give him a bath to calm him down.  As soon as we start undressing him in the bathroom he stops crying.  He enjoys a warm bath and a baby massage with lotion.

Adam was blessed while we were visiting family in Reno.  It worked out perfectly!  Almost our entire family was able to be there (except Uncle KC and Aunt Crista!)  It was special moment to see all the wonderful men in Adam's life, especially his Daddy.  The boys are so blessed to have Ben as their dad.  He loves them SO MUCH and is so involved in their lives!  It is amazing to watch.  Ben gave Adam a wonderful blessing, mainly focused on the love that surrounds him.  And that couldn't be more true.  Adam is loved by us, extended family, friends and probably even a little bit by the complete strangers who see him.  It's surreal that our family has grown so much!  We're not exactly a small family anymore (which I probably knew when we were forced to buy a van!)

There's something so precious about baby feet.

I love that my boys are growing up to be so close with their cousins!

Adam has really come to LOVE sleeping in our bed and consequently, nursing most of the night.  Oh well!  He's also gotten very good at holding up his head.

Having 3 kids is more physically exhausting.  Someone always needs something.  "Nap when the baby naps" is a real funny joke.  But I feel like we found our groove now.  Adam has brought a whole lot of love into our home and got us to a whole new level of crazy ;)  We couldn't be happier!
